Then
In 2005, Sam and Dean were reunited when Dean came looking for his brother. Dean broke in his brother’s house in the middle of the night.
“Dad’s on a hunting trip, and he hasn’t been home in a few days.”
Sam wanting to have a normal life was a bit skeptic of joining his brother’s journey. He had a girlfriend, was going to be a lawyer. His life was normal for once! Because that’s all he wanted a NORMAL life. But as things go they change..
“I was just going to college. It was dad who said if I was gonna go, I should stay gone, and that’s what I’m doing.”
But Dean being who he is was not going to let that happen, the brothers belonged together. Family is family. And dean was going to make Sam understand that.
“In almost two years I never bothered you, never asked you for a thing.”
Finally after much convicting Sam relented and they began their journey.
Now
The year is 2012, Sam and Dean beat Lucifer and they began to live their life how it used to be, Fighting normal monsters. A ghost here and there, maybe a Zombie or two. But nothing like it was.
But of course normal is never something that lasts very long in the lives of Sam and Dean Winchester.
