Training Gone

Okay everyone, I'm taking out the Training aspects for Canon techniques. Instead I'm going to do something similar to what I did on one of my old role-plays, Gbeth remembers.

There will be slots for Canon Jutsus and such. Tell me what you think.

I will support you with anything you do for your site, so this is why I am adding my opinion. I believe training is an integral part of becoming stronger, and that taking away the training threads would subtract potential roleplay from the site. In my opinion, I think canon techniques, especially the more powerful ones like the Rasengan, Chidori and Sage Modes should be trained and worked for. I'm not just saying that for those only, I mean with powerful techniques I think should be worked for. The only techniques I would make free, personally, are the Basic Academy techniques. I know everyone wants to be elite, but what purpose would being elite serve if you are just handed the ranks and techniques? There's a certain pride in hard work, or at least that's what I believe. Again, this is just my opinion, I won't hold it against anyone who disagrees with me, I'm just giving my opinion.

I would like it best if they were trained for. Or else the site will just be filled with preteens and the site would absolutely be like a text based MMO. You gotta Enforce that this is an RP forum. If someone doesn`t like it then tell them to go play an MMO and there is hardly no point in a rp forum having only 3 sentences in most of the posts. I.E: "Swings swords at you, gets really mad, wants you to die" "misses, turns around and swings again, madder then mad". And all the interactions is simply just a fucking chat-box. I know, I`ve seen that shit before. It may be easier just to hand people stuff, but yeah it`s better if ya have everyone work for it and have everyone the [opportunity to have about anything they want to get.

Alright, but I have been on a few Naruto sites and it doesn't exactly take away from RP, it just makes RP more non-individualistic. But I understand what you guys are saying to a degree.

Okay, what if the jutsus in the Site Wiki that weren't Canon required training and the Canon techniques would be open for those who got the slots first?

Well, here's my opinion, basically for training and all;
The Non-Canon techniques made by other players should require training with everyone with the exception being the creator. I think it is a good idea to give the players the option to create their own techniques and have them, just when it comes to the Canon techniques I believe those should be worked for. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the slots being open to those who get to them first, my interpretation is that the people who get to the slots first are (in character) the ones who invented the techniques, I might be wrong but that's actually not a bad idea, just so long as the others can train and have the techniques if they worked hard enough. I have that one idea that I gave you a long time ago about the training system, if you still want to use it.

I like the idea with customs, Gbeth and will probably institute something like that. Also, the slot thing is whoever comes first OOC. They will get the slot for those techniques and such.

Also, sorry guys but I will not make someone have to train for those techniques. It's just, I don't want to have to do it. There are so many sites that do it. I'm fine with making them train for stuff in the Site Wiki but not Canon Stuff.

Also, I should just tell you all here, I'm also going to open up some Canon Characters. This is going to be a fairly Canon Site but also a fairly Non-Canon Site.

I really don`t like the idea of OoC slots at all. It`s way to damn limiting, only few people get into clans and jutsu... that`s very very blah to me. I would want to have everyone an opportunity to get what they want. I do understand about its usefulness though, like for canon bijuu or cannon legendary weapons because there are only 1 of those in rp. But having that for clans and jutsu doesn`t make sense at all.

On other note I should tell ya that you should NOT depend the sites canon on characters, label the characters as a bonus to the site. How much you wanna bet that the first person that wants to be naruto that doesn`t roleplay the character like how he would act? Doing all kind of shit that the character wouldn`t normally due, saying "believe it!" in every damn paragraph.

I really like the idea of having canon characters but don`t make it such a big deal. It should only be to those that can actually role-play the character like how they would actually would.

And speaking of canon, ya think ya could have alot more canon stuff here? Like jutsus for one. I can tell ya, there are quite number of people that are not the most creative bunch. Having the site rely on mostly customs, especially in the beginning, is stressing it.

Yeah I'm gonna add a bunch more Canon stuff, as for people not acting correctly with Canon Characters I've got that covered. You have to PM me to get approved for any Canon Character and for the major Canon Slots. I'll test whoever is running for those slots.

So since this takes place in the start of the village's does this mean Mokuton will only belong to the first Hokage? I was sort of looking forward to recreating my Mokuton character. But I could do something different.
