Name: Basic Earth Stance
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu
Requirements: 1 Slot
Description: A basic, low stance that utilizes the Earth Principle; "Whatever your opponent throws at you, block or stop and counter with a powerful move. Do not give any ground, do not yield to an enemy's attacks. Use powerful attacks that enable you to take ground and make your opponent yield, keep the attack as an onslaught. In the end, something has to give, either you or your opponent, such is the way of being unstoppable like the mighty Earth." Knees are slightly bent, with feet a little wider than shoulder-width, ALWAYS the right foot in front of the left. Your left fist is held back while your right fist is in lead. Once you have blocked and countered, step forward into the opponent, reversing your side, effectively taking ground from them. You can also open your hands and go into a lower, grappling position.
Drawbacks: This stance, while giving the user a solid defense, leaves him open to a lot of attacks, particularly if the enemy is fast and agile. It offers no protection against forms of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu.
Name: Over-Arm Throw
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu, Earth Style
Requirements: Basic Earth Stance
Description: Joji, from an outside grip, will throw his opponent into the ground by heaving them down at a sharp angle as he turns away from that opponent.
Drawbacks: It requires strength, and depending on what or who you're throwing, it'll have more or less mass and weight. So obviously Joji isn't going to be using this technique against a sumo wrestler, for example.
Name: Shoulder Impact
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu, Earth Style
Requirements: Basic Earth Stance
Description: Joji pushes his opponent, full force, with his body by ramming into them with his shoulder, kind of like what you do in a mosh pit or sumo bout. With this technique, its force against force, and according to the teachings of the Earth-Principle; something's going to give. Meaning, if the technique is successful, Joji's bodily force is greater than his opponent's, practically overwhelming the opponent with force.
Drawbacks: Can be countered if the opponent has the stronger amount of force, or it can be dodged altogether. Again, obviously Joji will not be using this technique on a sumo wrestler any time soon. An opponent with a stronger amount of force will be heavier and most likely more massive.
Name: Stone Crusher
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu, Earth Style
Requirements: Basic Earth Stance
Description: A slightly rounded, powerful punch that, contrary to popular belief, does not rely solely on strength. The key is; relax your body, throw the punch, just before it lands put all of your weight and drive into it by moving your hips, sides, chest, shoulders, feet and legs. This creates a raw, accelerative force that makes the punch so hard. Once it lands, stop the force completely and withdraw your fist.
Drawbacks: Since one is throwing their whole body into the punch, sometimes it gets confusing on how to execute this technique properly. Punching is a snapping motion, not a pushing motion, so you have to time it right so that when the force is delivered you can withdraw your fist. If you try pushing your fist into the opponent, especially at the velocity of this kind of punch, you'll snap your wrist.
Name: Ground and Pound
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu, Earth Style
Requirements: Basic Earth Stance
Description: Against a downed opponent, Joji will sit on top of them and assault the opponent with fists, usually three at a time. This is called "Ground Pounding" in MMA.
Drawbacks: An opponent may block the punches, or parry and counter. If Joji isn't careful, the opponent can roll over and reverse into the dominant position, starting an assault of their own.
Name: Brick-Body Slam
Rank: D-rank
Special: Taijutsu, Earth Style
Requirements: Basic Earth Stance
Description: This is a maneuver in which Joji runs up, jumps onto his opponent and lands horizontally across his opponent's torso, forcing them to the ground. It is one of his favorite moves in Rugby because it makes a big splash in the mud. It is also known as a Crossbody Block in Wrestling, the difference is that the Wrestling version is normally done from the top of the turnbuckle or launched by running into the ropes to gain more momentum.
Drawbacks: Since this is a technique that relies on weight and mass to bring an opponent to the ground, it won't work on anyone bigger or heavier than another kid, unless the opponent is of a really light weight.
Name: White Demon Rage (Gate of Rage or Gate 1)
Rank: C-rank
Special: Kekkei Genkai
Requirements: Must be a blood member of the Dazai clan
Description: Upon feeling intense negative emotions, Joji flies into a screaming berserker frenzy, any Genjutsu that is C-rank or below is useless against him.
Drawbacks: When Joji calms down, depending on how long the rage lasts, his bodily energy will be low to completely depleted, in such a case he will collapse on the ground and start breathing very hard.
Rank: D-rank
